There is nothing significant about the pups that Grover makes. The ones he makes for himself are so bland that Dave got Input from a guy from another pup company to get suggestions to feed to Grover so he wouldn’t have to use Grovers stock pups.
Even then, you can hear in interviews that he looks at pups with the same lack of personality as someone might pick out strap buttons. They are wire wrapped around a bobbin, in his own words.
Please don’t waste your time chasing something so bland.
