Cashing in on Jimi is relatively recent. They’ve been cashing in on Page for about 6-7 years. They’ve been hitting on the Beck thing since day 1 (1976) with Billy G coming in a close 2nd.

Id bet the custom shop Psychedelic Set was the Jimi wind before the family signed off on the official set.

I mean IDK about what y'all saw but they literally had Jimi's face and buzzwords plastered all over the marketing for the Custom Shop Psychedelic pickups. Like the old George Lynch pickups after he went to Arcane, or the '78 with EVH, or the High Voltage set with Angus.
I mean, I don't blame them, they're doing pretty well for themselves and they put out some pretty good product.
