Just purchased an Ibanez SA 560 with DiMarzio Black Velvet pickups (SSH). Can't find anything on these. Can someone at DiMarzio tell me what other stock pickups these are similar to. Just wanted to in the know.

Probably a thicker sounding single coil.  Probably in the range of a true Velvet in output.  Put a meter on it and check the output.

It would be interesting for DiMarzio to release technical information on the BLACK VELVET series since they are now used by the RG8560SLTD series, 45th anniversary

I am also the owner of a SA560 and I cannot find information on the Black Velvet, and as I mentioned in the previous post, now those pickups have been destined for the 45th anniversary version the RG8560SLTD, from the J. Custom series, it would be fair to have information for to be able to compare it with other models and to know what is the character and personality of the Black Velvet

and to date there is no information on the BLACK VELVET pickups, I have asked DiMarzio for his different means of communication and to date there is no answer, it is more than 2 years and we do not have an answer

I haven't been able to find much information on the Black Velvet pickups personally. My guess would be a darker version of the old Blue Velvet.

Are there any markings on the back of the pickups?

Normally I'd ask someone who I know is going to NAMM to drop by the DiMarzio booth and ask someone but that's not happening this year.
