I've never played the Gravity Storms, but the Breeds did not sound good to me in a mahogany S470 when I tried them. I did not like them in a basswood RG either. They worked much better in an alder Jackson DK2M. I would try the Gravity Storms in your situation.

Breed was just boring in Mahogany to my ears. Same for the Basswood RG. They really came to life in alder. I was about to sell them thinking they were just a boring slightly underpowered set until I put them in the alder Jackson.
