I have an old Epi les paul Deluxe that I scored at a pawn shop for $199. Came with a Bixby and 2 Dimarzios. Originally it had a HFH in the bridge which was wicked bright and an Air Norton in the neck which made more sence. I then switched the HFH to the neck and like it's single coil with ballls tone and put the Air Norton in the bridge but although sounded great it lacked balls. So, I installed an alnico 8 in it nd damn what balls from this pup. Amazing harmonics and superb lead tone and high end sizzle. for those who discound the Air Norton as wimpy simply swap the a5 for an a8
