I know there were some backlogs from Dimarzio in regards to the pandemic, since a lot of dealers are still having trouble getting stock. But since they are offering pickups direct, has anyone ordered from Dimarzio lately? Do they ship right away, or is there a long turnaround time?

I emailed them a few days ago and they said the lead time is about 2 weeks right now.

They were shut down for quite a while last year, so they are really backed up.

I have a client that wanted a Model P for his bass. He called DiMarzio, and several online sellers. They quoted him like 3-6 months. So I ended up making him one instead.

I just got an order from them.

I initiated the order inquiry on Monday via email.  They respond by end of day, once a day.  I called the Tuesday and got a live person, who called me back and got my custom order moving.

I ordered a breed set in red/cream for my rg921, a super switch, and a few pots.

I was quoted a good 2 weeks for them to ship. Add 3 days for delivery from NY to fla.

I got them on the following g Tuesday.  8 days from order inception to my front door.

No shipping or tax either!!
