Gravity Storm vs Air Zone
« on: January 26, 2017, 10:10:48 PM »
I have a gravity storm in an rg and love it. I hear lots of good about the air zone and might try one in a guitar, how's it handle heavy stuff?

It handles metal and shred well. I don't know it holds up to drop tunings though. It is my favorite bridge pickup in a Basswood RG.

The Air Zone is a great pickup. Going from a Gravity Storm to an Air Zone in the same guitar will result in trading off some of the crunch for more of a thicker rounder tone.
