It's a bit overwound but "still within PAF Pro range" according to DMZ tech guys, and stock it has normal polepieces (a row of slugs and a row of adjustable ones, just like, say, Norton) as opposed to the hex ones which do make a tighter sound.
Hmm, maybe the analogy is correct, it sounds darker then the regular PAF Pro, and it's definitely not the guitar, it's alder with a floyd loaded with thin strings, it's no where near as powerful as TZ, though, and not really as middy. I actually like it better then the other PAF Pros I tried.
