High Power Strat w/super distortion s on bridge
« on: June 26, 2015, 07:56:03 PM »
Hi,
I just bought this pickup set but I am wondering why no treble control on the bridge. Treble control on neck and treble control on middle.

Any special reason for this or is mine not working correctly?
thanks
dave

I believe this is pretty much standard on a Strat.  I've had two of mine rewired to have the second tone knob dedicated to the bridge pickup, while the first tone is shared between the neck and middle pickups.

The vintage style wiring has always been one tone knob for the neck pickup, and the other for the middle pickup. You can obviously wire two pickups to any of those tone knobs if you so wish
