Bridge Pup in the Neck
« on: October 12, 2016, 07:39:04 AM »
DiMarzio suggests it's not a bad idea to use the 36 Anniversary bridge pup in the NECK
position if your bridge pup is hot enough to compliment the pairing.

So that's what I'm doing. I have the Super D in the bridge. I'll let you know what happens.
I expect good things!   8)

I have the 36th Bridge in the neck with a Norton in the bridge. Sounds glorious, I'm sure you'll like it.

We live on the edge my friend! I'm glad to see someone else has done the same thing!

There is just one rule - there really are no rules. What sounds good to you is good.

Haha, yes!
Ever since I learned that Michael Romeo and Paul Gilbert were using Tone Zones (the bassiest, most "should-absolutely-not-work-in-the-neck" pickup) in the neck and getting killer tones, that's when I learned there certainly are no rules ;D
