The Pickup Place / Difference between VV '54 Pro & VV Blues

Want to replace the single coil in my '87 Ibanez 550. When I use the middle pickup I use it split quite a bit so I want something that splits well. I have a couple of the VV Heavy Blues 2 & I love them but I hate getting the same pickup. Kind of defeats the purpose of having multiple guitars. Needs to be high enough output to partner with the humbuckers. I don't like the glassy really bright typical single coils. Thoughts?

Evo is a great pickup. Very loud, which may or may not be a plus depending on your taste.
Love the PAF Pro. Much warmer not as loud but gives the clarity needed for shredding.
Cant go wrong with the SD.
Also have a Grvity Storm that I'm really happy with. Warmer tone that & not as loud as the Evo, great harmonics & clarity.

I thought of the HS-2 but was worried it was too bright.

The Virtual solo would be ok in the middle? See its intended as a bridge.

Yea looking for more on the fat side. Would like good harmonics out of it as well if possible.

It's a '90 Ibanez RG550 Basswood body & Maple fret board. Was thinking of Air Norton, The Breed, Norton but love to hear any others. Also not sure about the single coil to go. Have 3 other guitars that have #1: SD, Injecter(Not sure if it's the neck or bridge though) #2: SD2, EVO's #3: PAF Pro's & Virtual Vintage Blues 2. Prefer not to go with pickups that I already have. Like to try something different. Happy with all of them.

Though with the swingle coil not many other options that I can see cause I don't like super high end many of the others have. Really like the VV Blues 2 so probably go with another one of those if no other option.

Yea I thought about PAF Pro's cause they were what everyone used back then but it seems none of them use them any more so wasn't sure if there was maybe better choices. Never hear a PAF master so was curious if it was maybe an "improved" version. Thanks for the help.
