In Mahogany with or without a cap.. I dig either the Super3 or the Timmons.. for years it was solely the Super3.. and the last few years I the Timmons just a shade livelier.

For those who have only heard the 30 second snippet or maybe missed the original post.. etc etc ...
now @ CD Baby you can actually listen to the entire track in preview mode.. iTunes and Amazon are both still only using the 30 sec snippet..
I'd only like to add that there are two very distinctly different rhythmic feels/grooves here that just simply don't get communicated in a 30 sec snippet..

The Timmons bridge and Liquidfire Neck can get you in that territory.. this is my new fave combo.. have it in an alder bodied USA Charvel with a maple 1 piece neck and it is sound nice an open.. a nice vowel tone.. sounds great with some overdrive and a little bit of analog chorus and a dash of tape echo..

EMGs.. the JB (I don't hate the way it sounds.. it just always and only sounds like 1985 to me,, I don't find it particularly flexible.. which is fine if you only want THAT sound)... Steve's Special (just doesn't work for me).. Air Norton (just not a fan)..HS2 (again just not a fan).

Tone Zone in Honduran Mahogany sounds HUGE.. my newest  version of my sig model has a Tone Zone in the bridge.. the mids give you that vocal "ow" sound similar to a Michael Schenker record..
