If I was dead set on using the Paf Pro in the neck, I would probably go for a Super Distortion in the bridge.

+1 for Ohm readings. The one with the hex pole pieces does look like a Super Distortion.

Even if there is a difference the make of the pickups would not matter. That would probably affect the sustain but as far as SNR goes, I doubt there is a noticeable difference.
