The Pickup Place / Evh frankenstein humbucker - dimarzio equivalent?

For anybody who have tried the frankenstein humbucker from EVH, how does it compare to dimarzio PAF models? Output and tone-wise

Bonus question: what single coil mid+neck would balance well with the frankensten bucker? I currently have fender CS54, and they sound a bit too bright and there’s drop in output when switching to the mid or neck position.
I mostly play the neck and neck+mid position

The Pickup Place / Dimarzio stack question

Hi. I'm interested in getting a dimarzio virtual solo for the bridge position of my strat. The middle and neck pickups are fender Custom Shop 54 (non RWRP). Can I use my original pickup cover for the virtual solo? And would there be any phase issue when combined with the fender pickups?
Do I need to split the V.Solo for authentic 2nd position tone and would I need a superswitch in order to do that? Thanks.

The Pickup Place / Dominion vs. Super 3

Hi. I've been playing the dominion bridge in my ash 24,75' scale strat. It sounds great but I'm curious about the super 3. I've read that they are quite close,  the dominion being more open/less compessed. If anyone has played both in the same guitar, please tell me your opinion.

Breed set in my opinion has less bass but also warmer/less highs than a TZ. Maybe try the dominion set.

I feel that the dominion bridge is designed/optimized for drop D, on standard E tuning the low end at first gets a bit too 'dry', but increasing the bass knob on the amp a notch took care of the problem really well.

I'm currently using the dominion set in my RG3120, I think they sound really great! I use them for anything: metal, rock, blues
The dominion bridge is like a tone zone with very tight low end and more immediate pick response.
The dominion neck perfectly complements the bridge pickup in terms of output and tone. It sounds like a warmer paf pro, but it shares the same fast pick response like its bridge counterpart so it never sound muddy or boomy at all, even when playing the low E or A strings on lower frets.

If you like the Air Zone apart from the "too much bass"-issue I'd really suggest you try this simple mod before buying a new pickup.

Highly recommend this mod! For my guitar I found the sweet spot to be around 0.01~0.015uf
Retains the fatness of my tone zone, just tighter, more cut, more harmonics

I thought it is the virtual paf? They are quite bright and low in output, any PAF model would sound close, I think.

Would the breed neck in bridge sounds good on a basswood guitar w/brass trem block?
Some people describe it as hotter PAF pro, which gets me really interested. I plan to pair it with a HFH in the neck.

I just recently put tone zone on my maple/mahogany neck thru RG. It sounds really thick and heavy, with very tight bass..! Sounds like unlikely combination, but I dare say it's almost as tight as a dimarzio evo. Definitely the perfect pickup for chugga chugga..!
