Title: D-Activator wiring to S-1 Switch

I have a Kramer Baretta with a single bridge pickup with one volume knob and no tone knob. I installed a D-Activator and loving the humbucker tone but would like to install a spare S-1 switch I have lying around for coil-splitting to get a single coil option out of it. I'm a novice but am capable of soldering. I'll be using the S-1 as a volume knob so what wires go where. Black and White to the Pole 1C? Red to left Pot tab? Green and bare wires to Ground (back of pot)? Back of pot wired to ground (bottom of bridge). Will this work to have it as humbucker in the up position and split coil (single coil) in the down position? Thanks for your help.
