Title: Anyone do the Virtual Vintage mod on the Evo?

And if so, did it make it sound exactly like an Evo 2 or are there slight differences? I love the Evolution and actually don't mind the high end, but I'm still curious about the Evo 2 and this is cheaper than buying one.

No. Evo 2 has different magnet.

Does the evo 2 use a smaller ceramic?

Yes. It is small but tall with two blades. It looks more like side by side blades strat pick up. Like Chopper.
