There have been some questions in a few guitar forums lately about where DiMarzio pups are made.
Yes, I know they say Staten Island, NYC, but if you look at the factory via google earth, it looks pretty small. No tours allowed, no real pics from inside the building that I know of...
Some of the guys are saying they may be made elsewhere, and shipped from Staten Island.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Unless someone has definitive evidence to the contrary, they say they are made on Staten Island, so I'm going with that. Regardless, out of the 500 ish pickups at my house, probably 3/4 are DiMarzios, so what does that say.

It really doesn't take a massive factory and over 9000 people to make pickups
Seymour Duncan has about 120 employees and if you look at their factory tours on YouTube and look at it on Google Maps, it looks pretty small too
