Title: DiMarzio Pot Tolerance
Post by: CygnusX1 on October 10, 2016, 09:42:21 PM
Does anyone know what the tolerance levels are on DiMarzio pots?
I know they're made by CTS. I'm hoping no more than 20%

Are you referring to tolerances in DC resistance? Because they may be imperceptible..

What I mean is, when you buy for example a 500k pot some manufacturers will tell you there
is a +/- of  20%. So the pot could be anywhere from 480k to 520k. Some say 30%...some will sell matched sets, but they are usually more expensive because someone has to manually hook up every pot to a multi-meter.

I was wondering if anyone knew what DiMarzio's +/- ratio was?
